This ranch has been in the hands of one of the region’s first settler families since the early days of Coyhaique, and over the years it has been carefully remodeled to welcome guests without losing any of its original charm.

The main building — once a modest farmhouse — has grown into a warm, welcoming lodge with an open kitchen and a dining room that genuinely feels like home. Right next to it, a traditional quincho sets the perfect stage for evening gatherings around the fire and long, relaxed asados after a day on the water. For those who prefer a bit more privacy, there are also separate rooms tucked away from the main lodge, ideal for couples or anyone looking for a quieter space.
The name Ardillas means squirrels in English — a nod to the Austral Vizcacha, a charming rabbit-like creature you can often spot on the rocky hillsides surrounding the property. Part of what makes this place special is the exclusive fishing access the family provides, included as part of your stay and covering some truly outstanding water.
After a full day on the lake, the hot tub is a welcome reward — and for those who need to stay in touch, Starlink internet is available on the property.
